An Evening to Remember, 12th Annual.

Evening to Remember 2023

Evening to Remember is a complimentary annual event that invites people of all ages to come together in a safe and supportive environment to commemorate lives lost to suicide.  This is an evening of remembrance for anyone who has experienced the loss of someone to suicide. It is held on or near the date of International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day.  It is planned and presented by volunteers with lived experience of suicide loss.

The Event offers participants a program of grief journey experience sharing, live music, ritual such as the flower ceremony and remembrance followed by an informal time of connection and refreshments.

Anyone carrying an experience of suicide loss is welcome: this includes families, friends, peers, co-workers and neighbours.

The 12th Annual Evening To Remember Event will be held on November 3rd, 2023 at the Woodvale Community Facility 4540-50 street (near Mill Woods Golf Course).  Doors will open at 6:20pm, and the event program will start at 7pm until 9pm.  The Event will be presented in person and live streamed for our virtual attendees. There is no cost to attend.
