Youth Suicide Grief Support Services

Grieving a loss to suicide can seem overwhelming, but the support and understanding of others can be a powerful source of strength. Our Youth Suicide Grief Support Groups are designed for youth ages 12-25 who have lost someone to suicide. The group categories are 12-14; 15-17 and 18-25. The curriculum has been created by Registered Psychologists who specialize in working with children and youth.

Group content is covered over a 12-week period. Participants attend an information session prior to joining a group.

Information sessions are designed to introduce people to the group, allow them to ask questions, and help them decide if the program is right for them. The other weekly sessions are designed to provide a place to process grief, learn and share new tools; and receive support .

All groups are offered in-person at our Prosper Place location 10455 172 Street NW Edmonton. Choose the group that works best for you:


Evening Youth Suicide Bereavement Support Groups 

12 to 14 Year-Old

Weekly sessions are Thursdays from 4:30 – 6:00 pm:

Information sessions are from 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm:

15 to 17 Year-Old

Weekly sessions are Thursdays from 6:30 – 8:00 pm:

Information sessions are at 6:30 – 8:00 pm:

18 to 25 Year-Old

Weekly sessions are Thursdays from 6:30 – 8:00 pm:

Information sessions are at 6:30 – 8:00 pm:


All group meetings and information sessions are offered in person.
