Donate Items and Goods

We accept donations of some items – directly or through partners – to support our mission. Read on to learn more about what items we accept and how you can contribute. 

SkipTheDepot 

With SkipTheDepot, you can get your recyclables taken care of while simultaneously supporting CMHA Edmonton. SkipTheDepot will collect your recyclable bottles and electronics from your home or business and when you book a pickup, you can choose to direct the funds to CMHA Edmonton. It’s a great program that saves you a trip to the depot and supports mental health programs in your community. 

Donate a Car 

Donate a Car Canada accepts vehicle donations on behalf of CMHA Edmonton. To donate a car, truck, RV, boat, motorcycle, or other vehicle, click here. Donate a Car Canada provides free towing in many areas across Canada, or you can drop your vehicle off at Donate a Car to maximize your donation (for more information, please contact Donate a Car). 

When you donate your car, it will either be recycled or sold at auction depending on its condition, age, and location. Donate a Car Canada will look after everything to make your donation easy for you to support CMHA Edmonton! 

Donate an Item 

Throughout the year, we hold silent auctions and raffles to raise money for mental health. We are specifically interested in gift cards, experiences, sports event tickets, and art pieces. Contact us at [email protected] if you’re interested in donating an item and we will confirm if we can accept it at the moment. If we can’t, we will do our best to match you with another organization who can.
