Distress Line
780-482-4357 (HELP) provides confidential, non-judgmental and short-term crisis intervention, emotional support and resources to individuals and families in crisis or distress.
Crisis

- Call 911 if you or someone you know is in immediate danger
- Go to the nearest hospital
Support
- Contact 211 for information on community programs, services and supports
- Contact our Wayfinding service to help find financial assistance, housing, counselling and more
- Contact our Suicide Support Services if you have lost someone to suicide or are caring for someone at risk
- Contact our Peer Support Services to learn how to care for yourself and create your own network of support
Advice
- Call 811 Health Link for trusted health advice (operated by Alberta Health Services) – available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Ask your doctor or a primary care physician for referral to a mental health professional
