The Government of Alberta

Our team offers debriefing support to adults, in groups or individually, who have experienced a critical incident. Groups may include families, friends, workplaces, or other social groups. Attending sessions is completely voluntary.

The debriefing process provides a safe place for people to talk about and share experiences related to the incident.  It allows them to process their thoughts and emotions, and to understand their reactions following an unexpected experience that impacted their well-being. People learn ways to support themselves and each other, and are provided resources that will support their recovery.

Services are provided free of charge, although donations are welcome when a group debriefing is held at a worksite.
