Soaked Socks, Full Hearts: Together We Raised $91,141.06 for Mental Health at the 2025 MHGC!

On June 13th, more than 100 passionate golfers braved the rain and came together for a purpose bigger than birdies and bogeys. Despite the constant drizzle and occasional downpours, which left everyone soaked to the bone, the spirit of generosity and community could not be dampened.

Thanks to your support, we raised an astounding $91,141.06 in support of the CMHA Edmonton Distress Line—an essential, 24/7 lifeline for people in emotional crisis. Your participation means more calls will be answered, more lives will be saved, and more people in our community will know they are not alone.

Why This Matters: A Call for Help, Always Answered

Every dollar raised goes directly to our Distress Line, which is marking its 50th anniversary this year. That’s 50 years of compassionate listening, suicide prevention, and connection in moments of darkness.

“Sometimes, a single call makes all the difference. And thanks to you, over 1,000 more calls can now be answered by our team of trained responders.”
Ann, Distress Line Volunteer turned Supervisor
