Canadian Mental Health Association – Edmonton Region is changing! As of November 6th, 2015, we are joining together with The Support Network to form one organisation. We’ll still be called CMHA-Edmonton Region.
The difference for you is that you can now access multiple mental health supports through one door. We’ll be in a stronger position to help you take control of whatever is going on in your life – through intervention and prevention. We’ll be able to provide a deeper education and awareness of mental health, mental illness and suicide in our community.
All of the programs that you’ve been accessing through CMHA-Edmonton Region and The Support Network will stay the same. It’s just that together we’ll be stronger. Most importantly, we can improve the long term sustainability of the Distress Line. This essential community resource, which has been threatened by a lack of funding, will now continue to answer your calls when a crisis hits.
